I’m a Principal Engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I work across Product, Design, and Engineering to build company-wide frontend platforms rooted in reliable architecture, proven practices, security, accessibility, performance, and design systems with strong developer tooling. Work

As a Principal Engineer at tb.lx by Daimler Truck, I'm responsible for defining the frontend architecture, standards, and practices used across multiple teams. Currently, I'm leading the rollout of a multi-brand design system for the Daimler Truck organization, from design tokens and theming to component libraries.

Experience

I have experience leading cross-team programs, establishing governance, defining technical hiring pipelines and interview processes, mentoring seniors toward staff level, and providing company-level developer enablement tools.

Skills

My top programming skills are TypeScript, React, Next.js Redux, ES6 and above. I have experience in Design Systems with design tokens, theming, design-to-code automation, storybook, a11y, and design collaboration through implementing specific work methodologies and contribution models. I also have know-how in observability, security, Web Architecture, CI/CD tooling and release management.

Hobbies

I'm a high performer focused on discipline. I keep a tight routine - work 💻 triathlon, OCR, and trail running 🏔️ weights 🏋🏻 meditation and rest.
I dedicate time to Family and friends - also never miss a party 🕺🏻
